Every teacher in every age group needs an assessment system. This class will discuss the importance and need for early assessment and early intervention. Classroom observation strategies and a child assessment format will also be discussed. Participants will be given direction and instruction in the use of an assessment format and discuss the value of parent/teacher communication.
