"Literacy and Math"

This class explores the creation and use of Literacy Math Activities to both encourage literacy and create a greater math quotient in the curriculum.  The session begins by defining the 6 basic preschool math standards. Once this foundation has been established, the concept of using a children’s reading book to create literacy/math activities is introduced.  The session gives a strategy for highlighting each of the six standards with a different activity
