"Policies and Procedures 2.0 - Minimizing Conflict and Limiting Liability"

The major sources of organization conflict are due to: Structure, or the lack thereof; System, Policies and Procedures; and Communication Patterns.  This all hangs on “Powerful Policies and Procedures”.  This training session begins with a discussion of the difference between a policy and procedure and the importance of not only having both, but enforcing them to the letter.  The session also outlines the fact that a PROACTIVE director is always working on improving these BEFORE there is a problem.  Participants will be exposed to differing areas that need to be covered in a good policy and procedure manual including some legal issues and newer challenges that have arisen in the past few years.  Among other things, a SOCIAL MEDIA policy is discussed.
